Job Description:
1. Environmental Monitoring Activities
- Perform routine environmental monitoring of cleanroom areas, including:
- Air sampling (active & passive)
- Surface monitoring (swab/contact plates)
- Personnel monitoring
- Monitor differential pressure, temperature, and humidity (as applicable).
- Ensure timely execution as per the approved sampling schedule.
2. Sample Handling & Testing
- Handle and incubate microbiological samples.
- Perform colony counting and microbial identification (if required).
- Maintain proper documentation of sample results.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Record and review data as per GMP requirements.
- Prepare and maintain logbooks, reports, and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as:
- cGMP
- USFDA / WHO / EU guidelines
- Participate in internal and external audits.
4. Investigation & CAPA
- Assist in investigation of out-of-limit (OOL) and out-of-specification (OOS) results.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare deviation reports and follow-up actions.
5. Calibration & Maintenance
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of microbiological equipment such as:
- Air samplers
- Incubators
- Particle counters (if applicable)
6. Training & Hygiene
- Provide training on aseptic practices to personnel.
- Ensure adherence to gowning procedures and hygiene standards in controlled areas.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. /B.Pharma in Microbiology or related life sciences
- Experience:04 To 09 Years (Shift Duty)
Designation: Executive/Sr.Officer
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of environmental monitoring techniques
- Understanding of cleanroom classifications (ISO, GMP grades)
- Familiarity with microbial identification methods
- Good documentation practices (GDP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and compliance mindset
