Hiring: Senior Manager – Microbiology (QC)
Location: Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra
We are looking for a highly experienced and driven professional to join our Quality Control team as Senior Manager – Microbiology. This role is critical in ensuring microbiological compliance, regulatory adherence, and laboratory excellence across multiple dosage facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and review GLP documentation including calibration schedules, AMC plans, trends, and annual summaries.
Handle investigations: microbial excursions, OOS/OOT, deviations, change controls, and incidents.
Ensure timely testing, reporting, and release of microbiological samples (RM, PM, IP, FG, stability, EM, compressed air, swabs).
Oversee environmental monitoring programs for OSD, Inhalation, Foam, and Nasal facilities.
Manage instrument qualification/requalification and microbiological method validation/verification activities.
Ensure strict data integrity, documentation compliance, and audit readiness.
Supervise culture management (ATCC, isolates, identification, preservation).
Review and approve SOPs, protocols, reports, and analytical records.
Maintain laboratory compliance, housekeeping, and digital documentation systems (LIMS/online entries).
Candidate Profile:
M. Sc. in Microbiology (or equivalent).
15 –18 years of experience in pharmaceutical QC Microbiology.
Strong exposure to regulatory audits (USFDA, MHRA, EU, WHO).
Proven experience in investigations, EM programs, and team leadership.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
