The 14th day of the Paris Olympics came to an end and the Indian fight came to an end. Wrestler Aman Sehrawat won the bronze on Friday night and added another medal to India’s tally.

Indian athletes could not perform better in the men’s and women’s 4x400m relay. With this, India’s medal hopes in track and field competitions have come to an end.

India’s medal tally at the Olympics has gone up to six. August 11 is the last day of the tournament.

Hockey team goalkeeper PR Sreejesh will be the Indian flag bearer along with shooter Manu Bhaker at the closing ceremony of the Olympics. The Indian Olympic Association has announced that it is happy to choose Sreejesh.

Manu Bhaker arrived in India two days ago. However, he will return to Paris after being selected as the flag bearer at the closing ceremony.

Though Neeraj Chopra was initially selected to hold the flag with Manu Bhaker, sreejesh was later given a chance with his permission. Sreejesh has announced his retirement from hockey.
