1. Research Associate-I (RA-I)
Project: Characterization of Pseudogene-like CTs in Ovarian Cancer
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Sharmila Bapat
No. of Posts: 1
Qualifications: Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree. Alternatively, candidates with 3 years of research experience post-MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one SCI research paper.
Desirable Skills: Experience in molecular biology techniques like PCR, cloning, protein expression, western blotting, and bioinformatics. RNA biology experience is an added advantage.
Monthly Salary: ₹47,000 + HRA
Age Limit: Not more than 40 years.
Project Tenure: Until 23rd January 2026.
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Project: Role of Host F-box Proteins in HIV-1 Pathogenesis
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Debashis Mitra
No. of Posts: 1
Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Basic Science or Professional Courses with two years of research experience. Candidates should have cleared CSIR-UGC NET or GATE or a similar national-level examination.
Desirable Skills: Experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, and virology is essential.
Monthly Salary: ₹42,000 + HRA
Age Limit: Not more than 32 years.

3. Senior Project Associate (SPA)
Project: Exploring Marine Ecosystems for Novel Bioresources
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Avinash Sharma
No. of Posts: 2
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Natural/Agricultural Sciences or equivalent, or a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine with 4 years of research experience. Alternatively, candidates with a doctoral degree in Science, Engineering, or Technology are also eligible.
Desirable Skills: Expertise in genome sequencing, metagenomic data analysis, and gene expression techniques.
Monthly Salary: ₹42,000 + HRA
Age Limit: Not more than 40 years.
Project Tenure: Until 2nd July 2026.
4. Technician
Project: Exploring Marine Ecosystems for Novel Bioresources
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Avinash Sharma
No. of Posts: 1
Qualifications: B.Sc. or Diploma in Engineering/Technology.
Desirable Skills: Experience in cultivating microorganisms and community DNA extraction.
Monthly Salary: ₹20,000 + HRA
Age Limit: Not more than 50 years.
Project Tenure: Until 2nd July 2026.
