Job Description :
Lead the development and execution of ESG strategies and action plans as a broad-based, company-wide strategic sustainability initiative, integrating sustainability throughout the company and ensure that the sustainability effort enhances business performance and supports the long-term interests.
o Lead the effort to create a sustainability vision for the Company encompassing people, profit and planet. Develop the business case to address sustainability issues.
o Lead the implementation and compliance of Environmental policies and practices as per the legislation.
o Draft & Lead Sustainability initiatives to keep Sustainability best practices top of mind for all employees.
o Measure and monitor progress against sustainability strategies, objectives and performance targets
o Develop Sustainability Report in collaboration with multiple functional stakeholders (Internal and External)
o Lead and support the team in data collection & analysis, case study and report development
o Establish monitoring frameworks and capture cumulative footprints of energy, waste, water and air quality
o Form and lead an internal Sustainability Steering Committee that will help shape and initially oversee the launch of the Sustainability effort of the company.
o Foster a culture of sustainability through ongoing organizational communications and education.
o Support for initiatives to reduce company-wide resource consumption and waste generation.
o Assess the organization’s current sustainability performance and identify and prioritize the organization’s key sustainability issues
Qualifications: Relevant Experience in Sustainability, Environmental, & ESG ( Masters in Sustainability)
Experience: 8-10 Years
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
• Sustainability Frameworks: Familiarity with global standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and SDGs.
• Carbon Accounting: Understanding Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and the ability to track and report on carbon footprints.
• Circular Economy Principles: Experience in waste reduction, recycling, and sustainable resource use.
@. LEED Certification Knowledge
• LEED Rating System: Familiarity with LEED rating categories (e.g., Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality).
• Certification Process: Understanding the steps to achieve LEED certification, including documentation, site assessments, and verification.
• Building Codes & Standards: Knowledge of local and international green building codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IGBC).
• Life Cycle Assessment (LCA): Skills in evaluating the environmental impact of products or projects.
• Local and International Regulations: Understanding environmental regulations, such as those related to air, water, waste, and energy.
