Locals say they were washed away.
These were trapped across the gates of Vijayawada Prakasam Barrage.
They collide with the concrete logs on either side of the gates and the concrete beams on top of the gates due to the intensity of the flow.
Four boats have already been washed away and stopped at the gates of the barrage.
Broken concrete beam
Lakkoju Srinivas, who has been reporting from Prakasam Barrage for the BBC, said a concrete beam has already been damaged as these sturdy boats floated in the water and collided with concrete logs.
This happened at the 68th pillar, Srinivas said.
The police have also stopped vehicular movement on the barrage due to this.
